I start from the position that most people just want to get along.

 

We want to put in an honest day's work, come home, spend time with our families & friends, feel safe in our neighborhoods, and be protected from financial disasters beyond our control.

 

We expect our government to implement policies that support our ability to provide for ourselves and to assist us in times of extreme need, to protect our environment and our liberties, and to administer a Justice System that exemplifies the philosophy of equal treatment under the law.
